Job Overview
Join BCG’s Finance organization and be a part of the “Future Finance” initiative, a multi-year transformation aimed at enhancing efficiency and simplifying processes. As a Finance Analyst – Global RTR (Record to Report) Process, you will be responsible for financial accounting and reporting, revenue accounting, intercompany accounting, and audit controls. This role requires expertise in financial consolidation, month-end/year-end close, reconciliations, and governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute monthly accounting tasks, including revenue and expense recording, accruals, and journal entries.
- Review and reconcile financial statements, focusing on consolidation, variance analysis, and audit compliance.
- Manage financial data flow, system hierarchies, and consolidation processes.
- Reconcile balance sheets and expense accounts following BCG policies.
- Collaborate with IT and finance teams to resolve system-related issues.
- Ensure strong internal controls and contribute to process improvements.
- Assist in developing and documenting accounting procedures.
- Participate in organization-wide projects and initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 4-6 years of experience in financial accounting, reporting, fixed assets, lease accounting, and audit controls.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as Oracle (GL, Fixed Assets, AP), Hyperion, SAP Business Objects, or similar.
- Strong skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and adaptability to different financial applications.
- Experience with Tableau, Alteryx, or other analytical tools (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
